Austin Fashion Week 2011 started August 20 and is finishing up the very successful week tonight, August 27th, with a Fashion Show that includes Gail Chovan the Parisian inspired, celebrated designer and owner of iconic South Congress boutique Blackmail; Linda Asaf known for her namesake label of contemporary dresses and breathtaking gowns; and Michelle Weisman, formerly the assistant designer for Mint by Jodi Arnold and head designer for Shoshanna, currently the designer behind 81 poppies, her modern, feminine line, which launched in Austin last spring.   
There was a runway show showcasing one outfit from each Mash Up Team's collection.  They had to choose one outfit and do hair and makeup and use it in a photo shoot to showcase the designer.  These are the outfits each designer choose to showcase:

The event was a success and each team gave there best and it showed on the runway. Hair, make-up, designers, they all out performed themselves. Kudos, Austin, to a great Fashion Week!
