Teenage fashionistas set their own styles forward in the hallways of a local high school.  Talk about fashion setters!!

While wandering the halls of a local high school,(Yes! I had a hall pass, Mr. Hall Monitor!!) I noticed how on trend the girls were in their styles. 
I saw that patterned and nude stockings were once again coming back into fashion, (Thank you, Princess Kate!) and that colors and patterns were making an appearance.
Here is just a small sample of the future stylistas!These girls were rocking what they were wearing. They had confidence and they liked what they had on!! 



















I wish the pictures were better to show the total cuteness of this black lace mini.  She paired this skirt with a patterned hose that just looked perfect for the skirt.

 The wide belt and white and black top made this not such a prissy little lace skirt, but an edgy little chic outfit! 
I loved the eye-poppng green shrug worn over this summer dress, She paired a black tank under the dress for a little less cleavage and a little more dress code. Then she threw a shrug that matched the green in the dress to really set it off.  Her textured hose gave it a feel of mixed patterns and textures which is absolutely on point for the fall look. Her green flats gave this dress such a comfortable casual feel I couldn't pass by without a picture./>Here you have the color blocking that seems to be very trendy for the Fall.  She has paired the dress with a royal purple tie coat that really adds some color and some layering that makes the look great for the end of Summer beginning of Fall dressing. 
I had to stop this young risk taker and admire her boots!  The color is fabulous!! Her dress was very cute and the sweater was all sparkly, but those boots were great! I asked what size they were because if they were my size I totally would have tied her up and threw her in the closet!! (Don't worry people, I know her mother and I would have called and let her know where she was....RELAX!)Now we come to a young lady that had a whole theme going on.  I loved the vintage feel of the outfit and the walking advertisement for "The King". I also liked that she had enough guts to wear it!!  If I could find one with Johnny Cash, I would totally be rocking that!! (because he is the "Man in Black" my favorite color!!) />I stopped in my tracks over these. I dont think I have ever seen these before, nor heard about them.  I know toe socks, I love toe socks! Toe Shoes??!!! I don't know if this is totally crazy goofy or absolutely ingenious!! My vote is still out. I really need to find a pair to see what it feels like to wear a pair of gloves on your feet.  I don't know, somehow it looks so wrong, but may feel so right!!
 
I have to say, these young ladies certainly knew how to style themselves. They were confident and carried themselves as such.  This was just a minuscule portion of the fashion at this school.  Stay tuned...my next report from here will be the edgy fashionista!!! Keep on Styling my Chic Chicks!!
