Countdown to Fashion Designer Awards 2007

The nominees list from the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) is officially in . . .

The nominees list from the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) is officially in; Oscar del la Renta, Marc Jacobs for Marc Jacobs, and Lazaro Hernandez & Jack McCollough for Proenza have all been nominated for the Womenswear Desinger of the Year Award.? In the Menswear deparmtnet, we?re looking forward to the likes of Michealel Kors, Steven Cox & Daniel Silver for Duckie Brown, and Ralph Lauren.? The show takes place on June 4, 2007 with a special tribute to Bono & Ali Hewson with the ONE campaign and Product (RED).

 

Additional highlights include an award for American Fashion Legend Ralph Lauren.? T-Mobile Sidekick will sponsor the always-successful viewing party as part of the show on Monday.? The sponsor will be hosting an auction and fundraiser benefit with all proceeds going to the Fashion Targets Breast Cancer (FTBC).? This year also marks the 25th anniversary of the ceremony, a prestigious event underwritten by Swarovski.
