The Color Purple
Tuesday, 14 August 2007
Girls, if you do anything to prepare your wardrobe for Fall Fashion, my number one tip would be to start stocking up on purples! I'm talking everything from a from a vibrant, rich and royal purple to a deep and dark plum. It was seen all over the New York runways in the Fall of 2007 in shows such as BCBG, Chanel, Balenciaga and Valentino. Obviously, don't overdo it.

A purple shirt or dress will need other colors to accessorize. Try cool metallics or sparkly black for this Winter (and if you're feeling daring, try neons). Another alternative for the more demure is to wear a little black dress with a pop of purple in your headband or clutch for a look that's very classy, yet fashion-forward and now! BCBG even has great clutch purses at fairly reasonable prices that can be found in department stores.

Final tip of the day: LET GRASS GREEN GO. No one wants to see it anymore. Time to move on for Fall and pop into your royal look with purple!
