Step Into Fall
Friday, 17 August 2007

Look out for heels this season -- make 'em high and dangerous! There are two new colors for you trend-savvy girls to keep in mind: Cobalt Blue and beautiful Grays. They are coming out in a big way. It?s nice also because so many adorable clutches can be found to coordinate the look of this trend. I recommend wearing basic shades and adding accessories into your look for an extra splash.

Gold is still in for shoes and accent pieces this season, but in a much lighter hue. Don?t wear the dark, hot gold as it is very overbearing and out in my mind. You will still find it out there, but why not try something new? Go for the more polished and cool-toned version and you?ll be right ahead of the fashion pack. "Goldy-gold" looks cheap. The lighter variation is more subtle and desirable for this Fall and you won?t be over-doing it.

Red is also still in -- especially as a scarlet hue. If you're feeling in touch with your inner vixon and daring, go with a neon. Too fun, right??! Pink, yellow, purple or blue are all highly recommended. Look at Lanvin, Pucci, Louis Vuitton, Christian Louboutin and Marc Jacobs for inspiration. You can even find these trends trickling all the way to the mall -- check out Cole Haan, Guess, Ninewest and Steve Madden for more affordable options.

This is just the tip of the shoe talk! More to come soon?
