MAO Mag Party at Splash
Sunday, 09 September 2007

Last night I joined the rest of the FNL crew at Splash for the MAO Mag Party. Right when I walked in the door, I could feel an energy of excitement and glamour -- this is what Fashion Week is all about.

The guests included a cross-section of fashionistas, club kids, indie kids and everything in between. The Blonds were definitely the paparazzi darlings, spending most of the evening being stopped for photo after photo. I managed to snap a quick shot myself!

Factory Scene staple and legendary photographer Leee Black-Childers was on deck, celebrating his spread in the this year's issue of MAO Mag. ?

I rubbed elbows with Lucas Entertainment head and star Michel Lucas. It was truly great to see such a wide array of personalities.?

After the MAO Party, I headed over to the Levi's After Party for a quick run-through. By this point my camera had died. Keep batteries on hand, Jamesson. Lesson learned. I managed to bump into Audrey Kitching on the street and we shared our experience working for a publication called Imagozine. She ended up taking me to the Misshapes party. What a way to end the night. The club was jam-packed, but there were just so many sights to behold.

I was just remarking to a friend how much I love New York. So many different styles, each one unique and interesting in its own way and the fun continues to go on...
