Hilton Launches Nicholai
Sunday, 09 September 2007

Strips of glitter hung down from the ceiling at the end of the runway, setting the stage for the debut of Nicky Hilton's clothing line, Nicholai at the 2008 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. The pulsing thump-thump of bass and beats ushered the entrance of the models.

The collection steered away from any clear theme, however it was obvious that skin was in, with many of Hilton's outfits featuring daringly short-shorts and skirts with high-cut hemlines. Eighties-centric bright colors and black dominated the Nicholai collection. Hilton's line was definitely young, but also very sophisticated and certainly flattering for all body types.
