A brief history about the clutch bag: Clutches have been around since the Babylonian era, as part of religious engagements. They went out of style for a while in the early 1900's but eventually made their way back on the scene after World War II. As time passed, carrying a small hand bag or "clutch" became popular amongst woman again, because it was easier to maneuver with while carrying valuables and money.

The clutch bag is synonymous with sexy, classy, and timelessness, and Chanel agrees. Chanel's line of clutch bags is phenomenal and classic. The style of most of their clutches will always have a place in the fashon world. This bag is not worn like it used to be. It was usually worn as an evening bag, but these days it can be dressed up or down, which makes it doable anytime of day. A flashy clutch with a simple outfit will not conly complement your outfit, but will bring it to life.
