Rock the Cure
Wednesday, 26 December 2007

Rock the Cure takes the stage to help battle cancer. Michael Ball, the creative director and founder of Rock & Republic, designs specialty items that you can buy, and 100% of the proceeds go directly to the Rock the Cure foundation. Ball believes that everyone deserves to dress like a rock star, and he transitions his belief into his designs.

rock_the_cure.gifRock the Cure began in 2007, and with Michael Ball as CEO, this foundation will be shining from all the rest. The President of Rock & Republic, Andrea Bernholtz, says, "We believe in helping others in a significant way. It's an integral part of our corporate identity." Rock the Cure seeks to eradicate life-threatening diseases from the planet with the help of fashion, music, and film. While rocking the republic and world, this foundation is rocking the cure for cancer.

Rock the Cure has teamed forces with City of Hope, a biomedical research and treatment center dedicated to the prevention, treatment, and cure of cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Using new treatments to help attack tumor cells more efficently, City of Hope has made remarkable breakthroughs with cancer treatment. Rock the Cure will be hosting events to benefit City of Hope, including intimate dinners, film festivals, concerts, exclusive shopping events, and many other rocking fundraisers. Thanks to Michael Ball's dedication to finding new and unique ways to raise money and awareness for charitable causes, Rock the Cure is raising vast amounts.

With the help of fashion, music, film, and finance industries collaborating together for this cause, they are embracing their powers to Rock the Cure. You too can help, by purchasing Michael Ball's designs, which range from shoes to denim. Again, all profits from your purchase go to benefit Rock the Cure and help find treatments, and eventually the cure, for cancer. View Rock & Republic's Rock the Cure store and make your purchases/contributions here . You can also purchase Rock the Cure apparel from Saks Fifth Avenue.
