Rock & Republic: New York Fashion Week Fall 2008
Sunday, 10 February 2008

A predictable stunning show was given by Rock and Republic at the main tent for their Fall/Winter 2008 runway show.

By: Mitra Asgarinik

Live musicians filled the tent as the models strutted down the runway, sporting their business mafia looks.

Divided into two acts, the show featured both men’s and women’s wear, prominent in blazers and a common theme of this season, high-neck coats. The main colors of the show were black, violet, and gray. Female models confidently showed off glamorous gowns that were pronounced with drapery, interesting cuts, and strong silhouettes. Male models were mainly in tailored suits and wool and leather coats. The second hat featured the majority of models accessorized with a holster and Italian inspired hat. Blazers transitioned into gowns once again, fit for the red carpet with their classy drapery and high slits.
