The collection was sexy, feminine, and glamorous, prominent in skirts and dresses.
Michelle Smith designs for the smart, successful, and confident woman. She combines sleek silhouettes, fabulous fabrics, and a timeless style. Her inspiration comes from her experiences in Connecticut, Paris, and New York. She wanted to design a collection for a woman like herself, who could combine professional dressing, sexiness, and fun. She began at an early age with an art scholarship where she learned fashion illustration. She then moved to New York and attended the Fashion Institute of Technology. From there, she gained worked at Hermes, and Louis Vuitton, Torrente, and Christian Dior Haute Couture. Milly launched in 2000, and has taken a worldwide effect.
Michelle Smith’s fashion show was for the woman who likes to be girly and have fun in style. Her color palette was fused with black, white, and shades of pink, the perfect colors for a woman’s fall wardrobe. Her long coats and dresses were lined with a bright sugar pink, and many of her dresses were tied with a bow at the waist. Some of her pieces were composed of delicate, lace prints, while others did the job by being simple. The line featured gorgeous saga furs of fox and mink, which made the collection for the classy metropolitan woman. Personally, one of my favorite collections, Michelle Smith wowed her audience with her knack for tailoring and appealing to every woman with girly cuts and colors. |
