Katy has had an amazing year that included four Grammy Award nominations for her double-platinum album Teenage Dream, which spawned a record-breaking five No. 1 Pop and Hot 100 singles: “California Gurls,” “Teenage Dream,” “Firework,” “E.T.,” and “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.).” “Firework” also took home the 2011 MTV Video Music Award for “Video of the Year.” Katy ends 2011 with three American Music Award nominations (including “Artist of the Year”) and a leading seven People’s Choice Awards nominations, including “Favorite Female Artist” and “Favorite Song of the Year” for “E.T.” Now Katy is going to give a big thank you to the people that helped to get her there...her fans. Katy announced on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that she added a second show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles that will take place the night after her sold-out November 22nd show — this one free to thank fans for their incredible support throughout 2011. The November 23rd “Katy Perry Gives Thanks” show will wrap up the global superstar’s sold-out 122-date California Dreams World Tour.
